Law Cannot be Implemented in a Hurry – IGP

When answering a question  raised by a  journalist in Vavuniya, IGP Poojitha Jeyasundara said, that there is no need to rush and implement law  to satisfy anyone. If the offender is caught and evidence  made available,  he or she will be prosecuted by the police irrespective of religion or race .Law is common for all.  When an offence is reported don’t look at it with a communal  mind. When implementing law police doesn’t look whether the suspect is a  Buddhist or a Muslim? There was a burning  of a shop yesterday. When such incidents takes place they blame the police. We will implement law .
IGP made these observation when a journalist asked him that shops  belongs to Muslims  are burned down and what is the action taken by  the police?
