Power And Energy Ministry Appeals to Consumers to Use Electricity Economically

While the Power and Energy Minister Ranjith Siyambalapitiya  addressing a meeting at Pottuvil, in the country’s East, he has appealed  to the public to use electricity economically , despite heavy rains experienced recently.

He said that the tanks used for hydropower electric  generation  had not increased very much with the rains and therefore the general public should be use electricity carefully in order to mitigate any shortages.
