Sugar Price Increase Illegal -Govt

The Government Information Department  has issued a statement which says the price of sugar cannot be increased at any point on account of Rs 10  increase in import tax on one kilogram of sugar. Statement says  that it is against the law to increase the Retail Price of sugar.

Further it says a kilogram of sugar can be purchased from Sathosa for Rs 102 .
