Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and Southern provinces and Puttalam district. Fairly heavy falls more than 50 mm can be expected at some places (particularly in the Sabaragamuwa and Southern provinces).

Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in the Eastern and Uva provinces after 2.00 p.m.

Fairly strong winds about 50 kmph can be expected over Northern Province.

There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
