Misuse of Divi Neguma Fund Case Against Basil Postponed

Former Minister of Economic Development Basil Rajapaksa was indicted in the High Court for misusing Divi Neguma funds amounting to Rs 29.4 million for the printing of 5.1 million almanacs.

When the case was taken up today for hearing, it was postponed to 13th of November 2017.

High Court Judge Gihan Kulathunga issued summons to the first five witnesses of the case to appear before Court on the 13th of November.
