Destruction of the Environment Become a Big Issue – President

President Maithripala Sirisena while attending a function which was held in Giritale, Polonnaruwa said that  the destruction of the environment had become a major problem worldwide.

Further he said, that the problem was being intensified as a result of impacts brought about my conflicts and disputes in society. Accordingly, a need for the implementation of a new, methodical scheme has arisen in order to build a favourable and safe country, he concluded.
