Fire in Dematagoda A Motor Vehicle Completely Destroyed

A motor vehicle was completely destroyed in an unexpected explosion of fire in Dematagoda around 12.45 am today (22).

This incident occurred near the St. Anthony’s Church whilst it was travelling along St. Anthony’s Mawatha.

As a result of the explosion, another car and van in the vicinity had also caught fire and sustained damages.

The fire is believed to have been caused by a technical malfunction of the vehicle.
