Protest By Blocking Poonakari Mannar Road
People who were living in Iranaithivu of Killinochchi district were displaced from 1992 and lived in Mulankavil.
As from 2010 People carried out various protests requesting Government authorities to release their native land. Since no response was shown to their struggle they commenced demonstrations as from 1st May 2017 to bring to the attention of relevant authorities . Their struggle has taken 54 days.
Today they blocked A32 Poonakari Mannar Road and stages demonstration .
