Rishad’s Review Visit to Ratnapura on 24 th Saturday

Since his appointment as coordinator to ensure disaster relief work in Ratnapura district, Minister of Industry and Commerce, Rishad Badiutheen has visited Ratnapura on several occasions met Government officials, Non Governmental organizations, Civil organizations and directed relief operation under three categories:

1. Ordered steps to be taken in providing immediate relief to the affected people.

2. Provide a complete relief package.

3. Reconstruction work.

This progress review inspection visit will be made tomorrow (24 th). Difficulties confronted by officials in implementing decisions taken on health, education and cleaning work will be reviewed. In addition he will interact direct with the disaster affected people tomorrow.
