NCPA ,Local Authorities & Police Taken Begging Kataragama Children into Protective Custody

Today (25) National Children Protection Authority (NCPA) in collaboration with Local Govt.Authorities and Police rounded up 48 children aged between 2 and 16, engaged in begging in Kataragama sacred area took them into protective custody. Parents of the children reacted angrily but couldn’t manage to prevent NCPA taking children under their protective custody .
