Ambulance Drivers Poised to Stage An Island Wide Strike?

The All Island Health workers Federation announced that their members would struck work tomorrow  (27) and day after tomorrow (28). The strike action was taken due to transfer order issued to  11  ambulance drivers of the Eastern Province  to other departments and non commencement of ambulance service  in certain local authorities etc.

Instead of addressing the issues, blaming the health workers won’t take the Government to anywhere, the Federation said.
