Vithya Murder Case to be Heard at Trial at Bar

Vidya Sivaloganathan of Pungudutivu, an 18-year-old student was abducted, raped and murdered while returning from Pungudathivu Vidyalaya on May 13, 2015. Originally  this case was heard in the Jaffna High Court. Subsequently it was decided to appoint three Tamil speaking High Court Judges and inquire  through Trial at bar.

This case will be heard  by three  Tamil  High Court Judges named Manickavasagar Chelian , Annalingam Premashankar  and  Balendran Sashi Mahendran at Trial at bar.

The case will be heard continuously for six days as from today (28).
