Jamiyyathul Ulama Board Requests President to Appoint a Committee to Inquire into Complaints Made by BBS Against Muslims

President of  the All Ceylon Jamiyyathul Ulama Board, Ash-Sheikh M.I.M.Rizvi Mufti in response to a statement made by the BBS Leader Galaboda Gnanasara Thera that Muslims need to enter into an interactive discussion to sort out doubts and  accusations against Muslims said, that undercurrent situation  holding talks won’t serve any purpose. Instead BBS should complain their concern against Muslims to the President, who in turn can appoint an independent committee to go into it deeply and make their recommendations. Based on the findings the President and the Prime Minister can take steps accordingly . He strongly believes  President and Prime Minister won’t allow  any race or religious group to feel that they are discriminated  or injustice meted out to them. In view of the above facts, it is better to inquire into the complaints by BBS against Muslims and  take steps on legal lines instead of talking , he concluded.
