Two New Ministers to NPC

Followed by the resignations of  Minister of Education and Agriculture on the 21 of June, Chief Minister of the Northern Province, C.V. Wigneswaran took oaths as the acting minister of Education and Agriculture.

Subsequently there were  several discussions among NPC Councillors to select two new Ministers. Chief Minister, C.V. Wigneswaran said to have selected  two new Ministers , who stood by him as an when he faced  problems in the Northern Provincial Council.

Anandi Shashidaran and K. Sarveshwaran  will be sworn in  to ministerial positions of the Northern Provincial Council, later today (29).

They will be sworn in at 10.00am today, in the presence of the Governor of the Northern Province, Rejinald Cooray.
