Water Tariff Revision Not Ruled Out

The National Water Supply and Drainage Board Chairman K .Ansar said,  water tariffs must be increased if the Water Board is to continue functioning effectively. Further he said  the government will take necessary steps with regard to water tariff revisions based on the decision reached by the Cabinet sub-committee appointed to look into the matter.

However, A final decision on revising water tariffs has not been taken  so far.
