Asgiri Chapter Invites Entire Sangha to Rise Against New Constitution.

The Asgiri Chapter Sangha Council says that the entire Sangha  should rise up against the new constitution that the Government is trying to enforce.

A member of the Sangha Council made the statement when he met with representatives from the Buddha Saasana Ministry Steering Council yesterday.

A discussion was held at the new higher ordination hall in the Asgiri Chapter Mahaa Vihaara Complex,  with Asgiri Chapter Chief Incumbent most Venerable Warakaagoda Sri Gnaanaratana Thera  at the chair.

When a member of the Sangha Council met representatives  from the Buddha Saasana Ministry Steering Council yesterday, he said that the the Asgiri Chapter Sangha Council invited the entire Sangha to rise against the new constitution that the Government is trying to enforce.
