RTI Commission Directed Govt. Department Officers to Provide Information Without Restriction

The Right to Information (RTI) Commission stated that they had received a number of complaints claiming that certain Government departments had refused to provide information  requested by the public. The RTI Commission said, that the public  had a right to access to information and documents of Government institutions.

The RTI Commission directed Government department officers to comply with the request in accordance with the provisions in the RTI Act.
