Weather Forecast For 6th July 2017

Mainly fair weather will prevail over most provinces of the island.

However light showers are likely in the Sabaragamuwa province and showers or thundershowers may occur at few places in the Eastern province after 2.00 p.m.

Fairly strong winds about 50 kmph can be expected in the Southern province (Particularly in the Hambantota district).

There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
