Final Rights to a Dog in Srilanka

A six year old dog adopted by Youth Parliament Deputy Prime Minister Malith Sudusinghe in Kelani died due to kidney failure. Malith Sudusinghe, who was fond of this dog did all religious rights to the dog similar to that of doing it for a human and buried.  

This is the first time such a religious rights done on a dog in Srilanka.
