Ranil Restricts Foreign Travel of UNP Members of Parliament

By a written letter UNP leader Ranil Wickremasinghe  has informed UNP members of parliament  that foreign travel of UNP members of parliament is restricted until completion of annual budget for the year 2018.

If a foreign travel is considered absolutely essential and cannot be postponed, MPs should inform him 3 weeks ahead of such foreign travel.

The letter states that this decision is taken to give priority to government business being carried out smoothly in an efficient and effective manner.
