Weather Forecast For 8th July 2017

Slight change in the prevailing weather condition can be expected in the Eastern province and in the South-western part of the country.

Several spells of showers will occur in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, North-western and Central provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts.

Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in the Eastern and Uva provinces and in the Mullaitivu and Vauniya districts after 2.00p.m

Fairly strong winds about 50 kmph can be expected in the Southern province and in the Badulla district.

There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
