New Regulations For Manufacturing Helmet

The Government  banned  use of  fully face covered helmets  in Srilanka . Affected  parties  filed action  in the Courts against this.  The  Court issued interim injunction earlier.

When the case was taken up again yesterday , the Attorney General  inform the Appeal Court that regulations have been formed regarding  the method  to be adopted  in manufacturing helmets.

The Attorney at law  appearing on behalf of applicants sought time space  to study the new regulations  andmake his submissions

The Appeal Court  granted time will 4^th August and postponed the case. Further  the Appeal Court extended the interim injunction till 8^th  August 2017.
