Polythene Producers Seeking Permission to Continue With 5/10 Microns Polythene

The  All Sri Lanka Polythene Producers’ and Recyclers’ Association Chairman, Anura Wijetunga made  a request  to the government to grant them  permission to produce polythene of gauge 5 or 10 microns used for packing food.
He has made this request at a media briefing held in Kandy

In another media briefing held  in Colombo yesterday, environmentalist  cum  “Let us Protect Sri Lanka” organization member Nayanaka Ranwella said that the Government had informed the people about the polythene ban on several occasions.
