Transfer of 24 Policemen on Service Requirement

The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Poojitha Jeyasundara has recommended transfer of 24 policemen based on service requirement. The list of policemen in the list included the names of 10 Chief Police Inspectors, five police inspectors and the balance junior officers in low rank .These transfers will be effected only after approval by the National Police Commission.
