Polythene and Plastic Banned in Dalada Malikawa & Suburbs

 On the guidance of Asgiriya Mahanayake Thera, Minister of Local Government Faizer Mustapha in company with the Diyawadana Nilame yesterday (14) morning declared in an event that Polythene and Plastics are banned inside Dalada Malikawa premises and suburbs.

The Minister and Diyawadana Nilame spoke to devotees, who came to worship in Dalada Malikawa with plastic basket full of flowers and replaced their plastic baskets with cane baskets. A move appreciated by all.
