NPC Decision on Senior DIG Lalith Jayasinghe

Senior Deputy Inspector-General (DIG) of Police, Lalith Jayasinghe was arrested in connection with the murder of a student  Vidhya in Jaffna and produced before the Kayts Magistrate yesterday, who ordered to remand him till 25^th. He has been taken to the Anuradhapura Prison.

National Police Commission Secretary Ariyadasa Cooray  said ,  a final decision on whether DIG Lalith Jayasighe  to be interdicted or not to be decided by the NPC and announced on 20^th.
