Weather Forecast For 19th July 2017

Fairly strong winds about 50 kmph can be expected over the island (particularly in the western slope of the central hills, Northern, North-central, Uva, and Eastern provinces and in the Matale and Hambantota districts).

Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in the Western, Central, Sabaragamuwa and North-western provinces and in the Galle district.

There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
