A Novel Method of Removing School Garbage

One of the grade 1 school located close to Borella has made some novel arrangement to dispose school garbage. The task of removing the waste collected in the classroom has been assigned to the children themselves. They are placed on a roster for this purpose and every child is required to collect the day’s garbage in a bag when he returns home.

Children of the school carrying garbage bags along with their school bags are drawing protest from parents, van drivers and bus conductors, who cannot tolerate the stinking smell it emanates from the garbage bag.

One of the parents said, the solution found by the school administration has aggravated his garbage problem at home. It is a pity that educated lot too resort to this type of novice.
