Nomination for PC Polls Will be Called on 2 nd October – Mahinda

Nomination for Provincial Council polls for Sabragamuwa, North Central and Eastern Provinces will be called on 2nd October 2017, declared, Chairman of the election commission Mahinda Deshapriya.

He made this announcement while participating in an event in Ratnapura (22). At the same time he stated that the Local Government Election cannot be hold until the local government election bill is presented in parliament and approval obtained.
