Ranatunga Claiming  Rs.1000 Million Compensation From Port Trade Union Leaders

Minister of Petroleum Resources Development, Arjuna Ranatunga has filed a court case against two trade union leaders of the Sri Lanka Ports Authority (SLPA) claiming Rs 1000 million  compensation for defaming Ranatunga in the public eye, by making false statements.

This case was filed  at the Colombo District Court against Port Trade Union leaders, Prasanna Kalutarage and Lal Bangamuwa, claiming a compensation sum of Rs.500 million from each trade union leader.
