Release of Local Rice  to the Market Next Week

Minister of Industry and Commerce Rishad Bathiudeen said, that sufficient stock of rice required  for consumption by the people will be released to the market next week.

In the meantime, Paddy Marketing  Board (PMB) has decided to purchase 55,000 MT of paddy  through Cooperative Wholesale Establishment (CWE).
