Weather Forecast For 31st July 2017

Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in theWestern, Central, Sabaragamuwa and Southern provinces.Several spells of showers will occur in the North-western province.

Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in the other provinces after 2.00 pm.

Fairly heavy falls (between50-75 mm) can be expected at some places particularly in the Colombo, Kandy, Galle, Kaluthara, Rathnapura, Kegalle, Badulla, Trincomalee, Vauniya and Mullaitivu districts.

Fairly strong winds about 40-50 kmph can be expected in the Southern province.

There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
