Sword Cutting on Police in Jaffna……

While two police officers on civil uniform were travelling on Ponnady Road coming under Jaffna ,Kokuvil and Kopay Police divisions, Sword attack was made on both of them yesterday  (30) at 1.45 pm. A group of youth came in cycle made the attack and disappeared.
Injured police officers were admitted to the Jaffna Hospital. One of them is in serious condition, hospital sources said. Injured police officers are Surendran and Dhammika. No one is arrested up to now, police said.
