State Acquired Neville Fernando Hospital Treats More Patients Now
Since Neville Fernando Teaching Hospital was handed over to the state on 1st of August 2017, it provided services free of charge to the public.
The Ministry of Health stated, that a total of 186 patients visited the OPD on the first day of it’s service and a total of 350 patients arrived at the OPD yesterday (2).
In the meantime , first meeting of the board of directors of the hospital was held yesterday (2) under the patronage of the Health Minister, Rajitha Senaratne.
