Traffic Congestion at Peliyagoda

Police report that there is an unexpected traffic congestion at Peliyagoda along the Colombo-Kandy road.

Police said,that the sign board collapsed due to strong winds this morning. However, the incident raises a serious questions on the way sign boards affect road safety.

Motorists were inconvenienced due to heavy traffic during rush hours.
