Namal Alleged Apart From Ravi More MPs Received ‘Gifts’ From Aloysius

United People’s Freedom Alliance (UPFA) Hambantota District MP Namal Rajapaksa alleged that apart from Foreign Minister Ravi Karunanayake . several other top level Government parliamentarians have also received properties and other ‘gifts’ from Aloysius.  He told that such parliamentarians  too should  be brought before the Presidential Commission of Inquiry as soon as possible.The Government said they were looking for Namal Rajapaksa’s Lamborghinis, Basil Rajapaksa’s coconut estates and Gotabaya Rajapaksa’s lands. Now look at what they have found, only Ravi Karunanayake’s penthouse,” he said. However, MP Rajapaksa said,  he was hopeful that the Commission will reveal the identity of other parliamentarians who received ‘gifts’ from Aloysius. “The investigations should start from the ones who signed the footnotes and who wrote a book about the Treasury bond scam and that the dealings were legitimate. It should be investigated as to why they wrote such books, even before the Court hearing on the incident started,” he stated.

Rajapaksa further said thus,  “The Government accused my family and called us thieves. Now the people can see who the real thieves are. During all these years, what this Government has done is to protect culprits and  nothing else.”
