SLFP & UNP Ministers to Demand Resignation of Ravi in Cabinet Meeting Today?

 Joint Opposition has submitted a no confidence motion on Foreign Minister Ravi Karunanayake in parliament, which was signed by 32 members of Parliament.The Speaker is yet to decide on the no confidence motion.

Day by day the demand to require Ravi Karunanayake to resign from his ministerial portfolio is growing. Under these circumstances some of the SLFP and UN P MPs are preparing to demand resignation of Ravi Karunanayake in today’s cabinet meeting. They have already requested  the president and the prime Minister to see that Ravi resigns from his portfolio. Hence, today’s cabinet meeting is considered as an important one.
