Dept. of Exam. Prohibits Muslim G.C.E. (AL) Candidates Covering Their Faces.

Department of Examination has announced that  any candidate covering  her face with cloth will not be allowed to sit for the G.C.E.(AL) Examination now conducted island wide.

State Minister for Education  Radhakrishnan explained the reason behind this decision. He said, that this decision was taken after considering impersonate candidates covering their faces in the past, hiding small size microphones and other electronic devices, which facilitate them in examination. This will come into effect as from yesterday, he concluded.
