A Warm Welcome Extended by Mahinda to Kurunegala Farmers

A group of Farmers accompanied by their families from Kurunegala went and met Mahinda Rajapakshe at his Tangalle Carlton house. They took their products such as fruits, grains and other gifts along with them. Mahinda was impressed by their presence and arranged a sumptuous lunch for all of them. The lunch table was decorated in such a way to attract farmers.

After the lunch Kurunegala farmers aired their grievances they faced while involved in agriculture and sought his remedy. Mahinda patiently listened and assured to do whatever possible by him.
