AAVA Gang Operated From Abroad

Police Spokesman Senior  Police Superintendent  Ruwan Gunasekara said, that  the police received  certain information regarding  key personnel operating it are from abroad. They  give directions  to AAVA group  from foreign soil and the group carry out  orders in Srilanka.

As  disclosing more details of this information will badly affect  the ongoing investigations, further details cannot be revealed at the moment, he said.

It is relevant to mention that 6 personnel  including its Deputy Leader  were arrested in Jaffna and Colombo recently.
