National Police Commission Recommends Removal of STF Chief Senior DIG M. R. Latheef …
On recommendation made by the National Police Commission, Senior DIG M. R. Latheef M.R.Latiff has been appointed as the Chief of STF on 4th August 2016.
After assuming duties, he has called back STF assigned to VIPs security without following legal requirement. He has not allowed STF to engage in any illegal activities. In addition, he said to have taken steps to eradicate corruption and fraud in the STF and to lead the STF in the right direction. People who cannot digest his activities said to have got together and conspired to get rid of him.
National Police Commission reported to have recommended removal of Senior DIG M. R. Latheef from his current position stating that his appointment was illegal.
