Motorcyclists Protest Against New Fines  For Traffic offences Approved by Cabinet

The Cabinet has approved the increase of the fines for violating traffic rules  yesterday.  It included  Rs 25,000 minimum fine for driving without a license, the employment of a person without a license, driving under the influence of alcohol and   driving without insurance . Further , fines for other traffic offences were revised.

Motorcyclists said to have expressed their objections against these new fines.
