Passing 20th Amendment to the Constitution is only a Dream-Mahinda Faction?

The Srilanka People’s Front leader G.L. Peiris has said,   that the government cannot get even simple majority to pass the budget for the year 2018.  

The 2/3 majority enjoyed by the government now will disappear very soon. Hence, getting Parliamentary approval with 2/3 majority for 20^th amendment to the constitution is only a dream of the government.

Further, he said that they would form peoples friendly government under the leadership of former President Mahinda Rajapakshe.
