Minister B.Denishwaran Of the NPC Declared that He Won’t Resign

Consequent to complaints of  corruption and  irregularities  reported  against  the NPC Ministers ,  the Chief Minister C.V. Wickneshwaran  has appointed a committee comprising of  retired judges and a public officer to look into these complaints and report back to him.

Followed by the  committee report submitted,  Northern Provincial Council’s Health Minister Pathmanathan Sathyalingam has resigned . During that occasion  in July  Northern Province Chief Minister has requested the  Transport and Trade Minister B. Deniswaran to go on a month’s leave as there were investigations of corruption pending against him.

Now the news received revealed that NPC Civil Transport and Fisheries Minister B.Denishwaran  will not resign his portfolio .
