Weather Forecast For 17th August 2017
A slight enhancement of showery condition over the South-western part can be expected during next few days (particularly during 18th and 19th) and fairly strong winds can be expected over the country (particularly in Uva province and Jaffna, Mannar, Kegalle, Avissawella, Maduruoya, Hambanthota and Pottuvil areas) and surrounding sea areas.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in the Jaffna and Mannar districts.
Several spells of light showers can be expected in the Western, Southern and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in the Galle, Matara and Puttalam districts.
There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
