JVP  to Abandon Bell Symbol  

JVP is aiming  to form a JVP government  in the year 2020 . They proposed to form a strong political force to achieve this target under a common symbol.

Hence, JVP will abandon its’ current symbol ’’ Bell’’ and contest  the General Election in the year 2020  under a  common symbol , said Uva Provincial Councillor, Samantha Vidyaratna. Further he said, that major two parties  have governed  this country alternatively  during the last 70 years and failed  to solve the problems of the people .  Instead  they pulled  the country to the bottom. Hence, the need arise  to mobilize other forces interested in developing the country under one common umbrella  and form a Government in the year 2020.
