Two individuals hacked to death over argument [Images Inc…]

 

Two individuals were hacked to death with knives, by employees of an eatery situated near Welimada bus station, yesterday (15) at around 7.40p.m., Police Sources stated.

One of the victims was pronounced dead upon admission to Welimada hospital, whilst the other succumbed to his injuries upon admission to Badulla hospital.

The victims are residents of Welimada area; aged 21 and 22 years.

The reason for the murders was an argument between the victims and the employees of the eatery.

Police have arrested five suspects in connection to the murders. Welimada Police is conducting further investigations into the incident.
