Time Ripe to Raise Tissa’s Head in UNP

Former General Secretary of the United National Party (UNP) Tissa Attanayake  believes that the time is ripe for him to make a return to active politics through UNP.

Commenting  to press about the recent removal of Wijeyadasa Rajapaksa as Justice Minister, the one-time General Secretary of the UNP,  said that during the past 10 years Wijeyadasa Rajapaksa had stood with the party leadership during the times of internal conflict and disputes. Hence, that it is not fair to push him out that way, no matter who they are.
