A Youth Spent Rs. 80,000 to Save the Life of a Street Dog

A youth from Kurunegala named Gihan Dinuska observed a street dog suffering from a severe wound at its mouth unable to consume anything and suffers.  
Gihan along with his friends decided to save the dog. When he took the dog to Kandy Vetenary  Seargon, they were told Doctors on were leave. Hence, they said, it is difficult to save the dog from death.  
Some of them advice to take it to Colombo to inject and kill the dog to free from its’ sufferings. A few other vetenary seargons in Colombo demanded Rs. 80,000 for which they agreed and obtained the treatment.
They are now proud that they were able to change the fate of the dog, which lives hale and hearty today.
