Ranjan Ramanayake Ready to serve 2 Years Sentence

Deputy Minister Ranjan Ramanayake said, that he is being targeted for contempt of court case for expressing his open views about the functioning of some section of the judiciary. He is prepared to face any eventuality. Even if he
is sentenced to 2 years imprisonment for contempt of court , he is prepared for it.

BBS and another individual have filed contempt of court case against him. In addition Bar Association too is preparing a contempt of court case against him. Let the cases be taken up for inquiry, I have collected enough evidence to prove what I said. This will pave way for me to expose various things in the judiciary which has not come to light to date, he said.
